Samantha believes that Through resolution of trauma we can begin to unravel who we actually are. Samantha operates from the belief that OUR trauma CAN BE OVERCOME THROUGH SELF COMPASSION.
samantha brings a cultural awareness of the hispanic community being puerto rican and white.
Samantha has been working in the addiction and mental health field since 2009. She approaches all individuals with compassion and validation in the belief we are all a result of our environment, developmental experiences and genetic dynamics. With this premise, she is able to help people identify compassion for themselves, improve relationships, regulate emotions and change behavior patterns.
Samantha received her Masters degree at the University of St. Thomas and College of St. Catherine joint program in 2013. She also earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at Augsburg College and additional undergraduate training in addiction at the University of Minnesota in 2009.
