Andrea earned her master’s degree from University of St. Thomas in 2023 in Clinical Social Work.
Andrea collaborates with clients to identify and enlist their internal strengths and resources to approach life’s challenges. Her empathy and warmth helps create a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can process and heal.
Andrea’s areas of focus include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, anger, trauma, personality disorders. She also focuses on stress management, boundaries, attachment, life transitions, social skills, interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem, adolescent issues, emotional regulation, mindfulness, de-escalation techniques, crisis intervention, self-harm, personality disorders, interpersonal skills, and family systems.
Andrea has experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals.
Andrea works from a person-centered approach incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, play therapy, narrative therapy, psychoeducation, grounding, motivational interviewing, and other strength-based approaches. Andrea believes they are many pathways that can lead to healing, working with each client to determine their individual path is most important.
